How to use the hot & cold breast pads? 
A hot compress helps with milk flow by relaxing the breast tissue and dilating the milk ducts, which can ease the let-down reflex and promote smoother, more efficient breastfeeding. It can be used with a breast pump while expressing to help reduce expression time and increase milk flow.
A cold compress can help reduce swelling, numb pain, and alleviate discomfort from engorgement or mastitis.
Gently place pack on the affected breast, ensuring it is wrapped in a thin cloth or towel to protect your skin. Apply for 15-20 minutes at a time, and you can repeat this every 1-2 hours as needed.
